The National Environmental Education Foundation is pleased to announce the winners of its 2012 National EE Week Photo Blog Contest:
- First place: Canoeing Station at ELC Lagoon Days by Heather Stapleton of the Environmental Learning Center in Vero Beach, Fla.
- Second place: Lily Marsh Exploration by Daniel Schaaf of The McCall Outdoor Science School in McCall, Idaho
- Third place: Pond Study by Jamie Preira of Cal-Wood Education Center in Jamestown, Colo.
The top three entrants were awarded the following:
- First place: a Samsung SH100 14 Megapixel WiFi Digital Camera at a retail value of $179.99.
- Second place: a Samsung PL20 14.48 Mega-Pixels Digital Camera at a retail value of $99.99.
- Third place: a Samsung ES80 12.2 Megapixel Compact Digital Camera at a retail value of $89.99.
